Welcome to the Claude & Co Sample Sale

For one day only, we're opening up the archives inside a light-filled renovated factory loft at St Mark's Works in Leicester. Expect a collection of sell-outs, long-lost favourites and unseen samples, gathered from the Claude archive. This is our most anticipated sale of the year, and we're expecting it to be busy.  

The space is located on the second floor and can be accessed via stairs or a birdcage lift. We've gathered everything you need to know below to help make your visit as smooth as possible, and we kindly ask for your patience while we welcome everyone through the doors.

When and where is the Sample Sale?

The Claude & Co. Sample Sale is taking place on:

What will be on sale?

We’ll have a mix of sell-outs, archive favourites and one-off samples from both our children’s and adults’ collections. 

Many pieces are one of a kind, and availability will vary throughout the day. We can’t guarantee specific products, colours or sizes. 

Everything is available on a first come, first served basis. We may bring out additional pieces throughout the day, but once they’re gone, they’re gone. 

Will there be parking?

Parking is available at: 

Mattioli Woods Arena Car Park, Memory Lane 

Parking is available on a first come, first served basis.

Other nearby options include: 

  • Euro Car Parks, Abbey Street 
  • Navigation Street Car Park 
  • Haymarket Centre Car Park 

We’d recommend downloading the Evology Parking App before you arrive.

What facilities are available?

The Sample Sale is on the second floor, with access via stairs or our birdcage lift. 

If you’re able to use the stairs, we’d really appreciate it, as the lift can only accommodate two prams or 1 wheelchair at a time. This helps keep waiting times to a minimum for those who need lift access. Toilets are available on site. 

Please note: 

  • There are no baby-changing facilities. 
  • There are no changing rooms, so we’d recommend shopping with this in mind.
Can I bring children and prams?

Of course. Just bear in mind that this is a busy warehouse sample sale, so there’ll be queues, limited space and plenty of people. If you can, we’d kindly ask that prams are left at home. 

We know that won’t be possible for everyone, so if you do need to bring one, you’re welcome to leave it downstairs or bring it up in the birdcage lift. 

The lift can accommodate up to two prams at a time, so there may be a short wait during busier periods.

What should I know before shopping?

We’ll be accepting contactless card payments only, so please leave cash at home. If you can, bring your own shopping bag. We’ll have bags available to purchase on the day for 50p each. 

Please note that all Sample Sale purchases are final, and we’re unable to offer returns, refunds or exchanges.

Will there be drinks?

Yes. Outbuilding will be serving ice-cold Picoso Sodas throughout the day to keep you refreshed while you shop.

You'll also find GOA Specialty Coffee serving speciality coffee and ceremonial grade matcha, with a menu of both hot and iced drinks.
